Christmas

Our little man looking so handsome on Christmas morning.

Esther showing Gideon what she got in her stocking.

My brother and his family got each of the kids "Pillow Pets". They fold up into stuffed animals but are also pillows. Esther got a giraffe and Gideon got a monkey. Esther was obsessed.

Esther's favorite toy of the day. It was from Santa.

Esther playing with her Little People school bus.

Me first thing in the morning...yuck!!

What a big girl..opening her own gifts. So grown up from last year.

Gideon relaxin' with his Appa.

Isabel loves her new little brother.

Did I ask for a cat for Christmas???

A good close up of best gift we got all year.

Steve deep fried that turkey even out in the rain. I thought it was too burnt and was extremely skeptical. But it came out moist and delicious and I learned a good lesson. Never doubt your husband.

Does it need to say more?

Esther waiting for dinner to start.

Who knew Esther's harmonica would be such a big hit?

The aftermath.

My dad made this rocking horse for my niece for her first Christmas. Then my nephew used it and now it's Esther's. My mom painted all the kid's names on it. It was my favorite gift of the day. So special.

Good friends and cookies

A week before Christmas we got together with some friends and had a cookie decorating party. We had so much fun, not that we don't always have fun when we get together with the Brownings, the Harris' and the Cranes.

Esther really got into it.

Esther kickin' it with Wylie.

Misson Inn

Well right before Christmas we headed for our annual trip to the Mission Inn. I can't believe it but they added even more lights and more decorations. One of my favorite traditions of the holiday season.

Esther could not stop looking up. She was pretty much in awe.

I don't think Esther was feeling that elf.
