Our free day at Wild Rivers

When we bought tires for our Mazda6 back in June, we also received free passes to Wild Rivers in Irvine. We weren't sure we were going to even use them, but a couple weekends again, our plans to go to the Living Desert Museum changed when we realized that it would be way too hot out there in Palm Desert and since I am pregnant, I am WAY hotter than normal. So we had a Saturday with nothing to do and our free passes expired that day. So we loaded ourselves in the car and drove down to Orange County. We got their right when it opened and is wasn't that crowded yet. We had a GREAT time. Spent most of our time in the "kiddie area", but Esther had a blast. They even had little water slides for the younger kids, and of course lil' E took to them right away. We also spent a majority of our time in the lazy river area. Just floating in inner tudes enjoying the wonderful weather (a warm 75) and being, what else, LAZY!!! A GREAT way for our little family, of soon to be 4, to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Looks like a lot of fun. I've never been there, maybe next year.
